David S. Mack (born 1941) is an American businessman.

Early life and education
Mack was born to a Jewish family, Ruth's son (nee Kaufman) and H. Bert Mack (1912 - 1992). His father founded a real estate development company, Mack Company. He has three brothers: Earle I. Mack, Fredric H. Mack, and William L. Mack. Mack graduated from Hofstra University in 1967 with B.A. degree in Business Administration.

Mack is a senior partner of The Mack Company, a real estate development company, and is director of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, a trustworthy real estate investment (REIT).

He is the Chairman of Long Island Rail/Long Island Bus, Bridge and Tunnel Committee, and member of Supervisors of Capital, Finance, Interagency Coordination Program, Audit, Diversity, Safety and Security, Construction/Capital Planning and Real Estate, Transit City of New York, Metro-North Committee. The term of office lasted until 30 June 2009.
The Travel Controversy
In May 2008, New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo announced that the MTA policy provides free life sentences to current board members and previously violated New York State law. The MTA Council initially refused to change this policy.
Philanthropy
Mack has donated for a scholarship and capital program at his alma mater, Hofstra University. David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex, Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center and Mack Hall are named in his honor.
Mack and his wife Sondra also provide charitable donations through David and Sondra Mack Foundation and members of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County.
