In 2000, Discovery Channel made a documentary film Mania Motor , which records the daily life of James. Following documentary success, Discovery Channel approached James with an offer to host a new show called Monster Garage where James and the mechanic crew modified the vehicle under a short deadline. James then founded Payupsucker Productions, where he produced events like Chopper History Iraqi Secrets with Jesse James and Green Scream , where James plans to solve record speed ground with environmentally friendly hydrogen cars. Through James's show "History Of The Chopper" there is also a glimpse of his involvement with Hells Angels.

Every celebrity plays to raise money for favorite charities; James was chosen to play at the Long Beach Education Foundation. Due to his poor performance in fundraising, James was eliminated by Donald Trump in the second to last show (finally 3) that aired May 3, 2009. Trump repeatedly cited James's hard refusal to contact Bullock's wife to raise funds for the event's challenge, though other celebrities have no problem in touching contact with cash.
The show, Jesse James Is a Dead Man , aired on Spike TV on May 31, 2009. The show featured James performing a death stunting. The first episode set a spike-level record for Spike, attracting the largest audience ever to a series without a script on the network, with 2 million viewers. Personal life
Family and relationships
James's Discovery Channel's website states that his great-grandfather was a cousin of a notorious criminal. However, Eric James, president of the James Preservation Trust, who tracks claims as a relative of criminals, says he can not find his notes in the family tree, and has asked him to provide a family tree and DNA sample to Believe to review; he has not provided the requested information.
James has three children: a daughter and a son with his first wife, Karla James, whom he married from 1991 to 2002; and a daughter with her second wife, stripper/actress/adult producer Janine Lindemulder, to whom she married from 2002 to 2004.
On July 16, 2005, James married his third wife, actress Sandra Bullock. They met when he arranged his 10-year-old godson, a fan, to tour the set of Monster Garage.
In October 2009, James's ex-wife Lindemulder, who had been in federal prison for six months for tax evasion, attempted to regain custody of his then-five-year-old daughter James - Sunny - after James was given her only trust. James attempted to maintain full guardianship, citing the fear of the environment in which his daughter would be placed if returning to Lindemulder. In December, James won custody, and Lindemulder was granted weekly visit rights during the daytime.
In March 2010, a media scandal arose when several women claimed to have had a relationship with James during his marriage to Bullock. Bullock canceled European promotional appearances for The Blind Side on the grounds of "unexpected personal reasons." On March 18, 2010, James responded to rumors of infidelity by issuing a public apology to Bullock. James states that "There is only one person who is blamed for this whole situation, and that is me," and asked that his wife and children one day "find it in their hearts to forgive me" because of their "pain and shame". Observer James later announced on March 30, 2010 that James had checked the rehabilitation facility "to handle personal problems" and "save his marriage" to Bullock. However, on April 28, 2010, it was reported that Bullock had filed for divorce on April 23 in Austin. Bullock also stated that he has continued with a plan to adopt a baby boy born in New Orleans. Bullock and James had started the initial adoption process four years earlier. The boy started living with them in January 2010, but they chose to keep the news secret until after the Oscars in March 2010. However, given the couple's split and then divorced, Bullock went on to adopt the baby as a single parent. The divorce was completed on 28 June 2010, with "personality conflict" referred to as the reason.
In August 2010, Kat Von D's tattoo artists confirmed reports that she and James were dating. James and Von D became engaged in January 2011. Von D announced that they had split in July 2011. However, in August 2011, James and Von D announced that their engagement was back on. In September 2011, Von D announced that he and James had broken up again. Von D then accused James of having an affair with several women during their relationship.
At the end of 2012, James is engaged to professional drag racer Alexis DeJoria. They married on March 24, 2013, on the plantation of the bride's father, businessman John Paul DeJoria.
Legal issues
In 2007, James was fined $ 271,250 by California Air Resources Board (CARB) after state officials decided that he had sold a motorcycle in violation of California clean air laws. According to police, James's bicycle emits 11 times the legal limit of hydrocarbons. Researchers also found that motorcycles do not have state certified emissions equipment in their fuel tanks. Motorcycles were sold between 1997 and 2006. James explained that he was unaware of changes to the rules that require small-scale producers to comply with regulations. James said CARB rejected his offer to withdraw and modify unqualified helicopters. Since 2005, West Coast Choppers has built helicopters that match emissions. James said the fines are excessive and are meant to make his example for his company fame and his celebrity marriage with actress Sandra Bullock, but CARB spokesmen declare their enforcement efforts aimed at all indigenous industries, and further that they are aware of no offer by West Coast Choppers for considering the motorcycle in question.
In July 2008, James faced $ 422,680 in breach of a contract lawsuit from Michael Jones, a customer who hired James to build a custom car, which argued that after paying $ 270,000 for two years, the car was not completed, and that James told him that it costs between $ 600,000 and $ 700,000. In September, James faced another lawsuit from his former lawyer for $ 327,533 at unpaid costs.
In 2010, James was accused by Fortune Fashions Industries, LLC working with Walmart and stealing one of the Fortune Fashions Industry executives to work in the clothing line after a failed collaboration between Jesse and Fortunate Fashions Industries. Fortune Fashions Industries claimed more than 6 million dollars in damages. Lawrence H. Nagler's lawyer, representing Fortune Fashion Industries, claims "Jesse has stolen the benefits of Fortune Fashion's work and manpower to unite this." James's lawyer, Joseph A. Yanny points out that James was a prolific businessman long before he met Fred Kayne, the owner of Fortune Fashions, selling West Coast Choppers branded clothing in his own shop and online. The trial concluded with a verdict in favor of James. When Fortune Fashion Industries asked the judge to defeat the jury's decision, the judge stated that Fortune Fashions Industries "is not entitled to any outcome of an unrelated line of apparel that comes a year after a failed attempt."
