The Jeopardy! Teacher Tournament is one of the traditional tournaments held every season on the TV quiz show Jeopardy! Contestants in this tournament are full-time teachers in the nursery school classes up to twelve. A total of 15 players compete, plus one alternative is invited as standby. This tournament is similar in format to Tournament Champions, Youth Tournaments, and College Championships; with the winner receiving $ 100,000 and a place in the Champion Tournament. The first runner-up garnered $ 50,000 and the second runner-up won $ 25,000 (or their combined score of the two-game finals, whichever was higher). The eliminated semi-finalists collected $ 10,000 while the knocked out in the $ 5,000 pocket quarter-finals.
The only Tournament Teachers winner to win the Tournament of Champions (or advance from the quarter-finals) is Colby Burnett, who won the 2013 Champions Tournament and then invited to the Battle of the Decade 2014, where he advanced to the semifinals.
