Celebration is the census-determined spot (CDP) and community planned in Osceola County, Florida, United States, located near Walt Disney World Resort and originally developed by The Walt Disney Company. As part of the Orlando-Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area, the Celebration population is 7,427 at the 2010 census.
After the Feast of Establishment, Disney follows his plan to release much of his control over the city. Some Disney business units continue to occupy municipal office buildings, and two utility companies, Smart City Telecom and Reedy Creek Energy Services, both operate from Walt Disney World, providing services to the city. History
In the early 1990s, the Disney Development Company (DDC) established the Celebration Company to spearhead its development in approximately 4,900 hectares (20 km km) of land in the southern part of the Reedy Creek Improvement District. The total investment for this project is estimated at US $ 2.5 billion.
Master plan developed by Cooper, Robertson & amp; Partners and Robert A. M. Stern, and the vast landscape, parks, pathways and pathways designed by the San Francisco EDAW company (now AECOM). - Celebration Avenue
- This is considered the main street in town. The road runs from 192 US to Artisan Park where it ends in a traffic circle. From there, the Celebration Avenue passes through the North Village, separates the Celebration golf course, through several shops and schools under the city, and then proceeds to parks and homes in the new section of Celebration.
- Celebration Boulevard
- Celebration Boulevard has two parts. The most common part is a parallel path with I-4 covering many commercial businesses and High School Celebrations. The architecture on the street is mostly Celebration Modern style. This style reflects the art of Streamlining Moderne and Art Deco influence with its sleek lines, rare but effective ornaments, and many opportunities for individual expressive features individually. The whole street is filled with two lines of the Washington Palms. The buildings on the street include seats under the shade of trees and trellises along their front. Another part of the Celebration Boulevard is located on the other side of the golf course, closer to the Celebration Water Tower in the North Village. Osceola County School District, Florida operates a public school at Celebration. Celebrations are categorized into the Celebration School for K-8. There are free classes offered at community centers by clubs for cooking, gardening, art, writing, and technology.
