Walking Street is the entertainment district of Pattaya, Thailand.
The street is a tourist attraction that attracts foreigners and Thai citizens, especially for the nightlife. The Walking Street area includes a seafood restaurant, live music venue, beer bar, discotheque, sports bar, go-go bar, nightclub and hotel.
Walking Street runs from the south end of Beach Road to Bali Hai Pier. This street is famous for its large fluorescent sign. A large video sign was set up in March 2010 at the entrance of Beach Road and many of the bars, restaurants and attractions of the Walking Street commercials use bright, large fluorescent lights. The authorities of Pattaya begin to crack down on signs of greatness by 2015 in an effort to increase accessibility on Walking Street for emergency vehicles.
This area is closed for vehicles from 19:00 to 03:00. Car and motorcycle parking is provided at the end of Bali Hai. The 2:00 closing time has been extended to many entertainment venues.
