Antwain Britt (born May 9, 1978) is an American professional mixed martial artist who last competed in the Middleweight Strikeforce division. Although perhaps best known for his work with the Strikeforce organization, he also fought in YAMMA Pit Fighting, and became a contestant in The Ultimate Fighter 8.

Britt was born and raised in Hampton Street in Virginia, but also lives in Baltimore, Maryland. He attends Indian River High School in Chesapeake, Virginia where he is an All-State football player and wrestler and then continues his wrestling career at Old Dominion University. After college, Britt was out of shape and began practicing mixed martial arts as a way to lose weight.

Initial career
He made his debut in the Heavyweight division but after some battles fell into Light Weight Class. He was a contestant at The Ultimate Fighter 8, winning by majority decision over Ryan Jimmo, but was replaced by Eliot Marshall for maintaining a broken hand in the fight. After defeating UFC veteran Antonio Mendes in Shine Fights 1: Genesis, Antwain takes part in VFC: A Night Of Vengeance grand prix tournament. He defeated another UFC veteran at Carmelo Marrero, and also defeated Rich Hale but in the final he lost to Rodney Wallace.
Strikeforce
Britt signed with Strikeforce in September 2009. He is currently training with Carlson Gracie's black belt Carlos Carvahlo. His Strikeforce debut came against Scott Lighty which was won by TKO by Britt.
Britt's next fight came against Rafael Cavalcante. The winner of the fight between Britt-Cavalcante will be the number one contender to the Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Championship against Muhammed Lawal. Britt lost through a knockout in Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery.
The next fight is against Ovince St. Preux in Strikeforce Challengers: Wilcox vs. Ribeiro. Britt lost the unanimous decision. On November 18, 2011, Britt made his Middleweight debut as a headliner for Strikeforce Challengers: Britt vs. Sayers. Britt lost the battle with a 28-second knockout into the first half. It was Britt's third defeat in a row and only for the second time in his career that he had been beaten.
