Epiphany Lutheran Church is a congregation at Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS), located in the western community of Lake Worth, Florida. It caters to the Lake Worth, Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, The Acreage, and resides in the Florida-Georgia District of LCMS. The Church offers traditional and contemporary services and runs the Early Learning Center preschool. Founded in 1974. With nearly 200 members in 2006, it was one of twelve Palm Beach Circuit sessions.

Lake Worth is home to a thriving community, and church programs and activities take advantage of those resources. Since 2001, the church has organized car shows, pumpkin plots and golf tournaments.

History

Epiphany was first conceived to accommodate a growing expansion west of Palm Beach County in the mid-1970s. Church land was purchased and the construction of the first sanctuary was performed. The first building was named Seed Hall and with the closure of Woodlands Emmaus Hall retreat.

The preschool building was completed in 2001. The congregation has announced "planning to plan" a new shelter with a plan that has been approved by the governing authority.

Preschool

The Early Learning Center is a Christian preschool that can accommodate up to 100 students. The church also supports a full care program.

Ministries

Epiphany supports many ministries including Christian Education, Stewardship, Youth, and Fellowship services; all under the direction of the Council of Ministry and the Parish Planning Council.

Church Cross Cross Tower

Epiphany Lutheran Church received international attention during the construction and cross-church dedication as high as 100 feet (30 m) in time for Christmas 2009. The cross also serves as a mobile tower for T-Mobile. The cross is the largest freestanding cross in South Florida.
