The East Coast Seafood Center (Chinese: ???????) is a tri-block food hub in East Coast Park, Singapore, best known for working together to find some of the premier local seafood restaurants, including Jumbo Seafood and Long Beach Seafood Restaurant. Jumbo Seafood established its first flagship oulet at the Center in 1987, with the ability to accommodate up to 1,200 visitors at any time. Some local specialties are served there among the various restaurants, especially the chilli crab and black pepper crab, the latter being claimed to be found by Long Beach Seafood Restaurant. Some restaurants offer seaview meals.
Opened around the same time as the park by the Housing and Development Board, the complex is managed by the National Parks Board, which currently houses seven seafood restaurants. Originally known as the UDMC Seafood Center, (where UDMC stands for Urban Development and Management Company), the company uses its current name in 2000. In 2005, the center was renovated, resulting in tenant changes in some respects.
In June 2007, other seafood restaurants housed here were No Signboard, Fisherman's Village and Red House. For a list of the latest restaurants, see the external links provided below.
The Seafood Center can be reached by car from East Coast Park Service Road. The large parking lot is located right in front of the Seafood Center.
